Genesis Philosophy
Antikrates is a site for students, academics, as well as for other individuals interested in exchanging thoughts on historical, contemporary and future issues. The focus of the site is on international relations, philosophy and related topics. Participants are welcome to contribute by issuing products of their philosophical and scientific work created in the course of their studies and other intellectual pursuits. The main purpose of this project site is to create a network for students and to function as a collectively organized and constructed think tank, as well as to provide a forum of discussion for past, present and future political, philosophical and social issues.
This page is also meant to serve as a scientific publication platform for university students. The purpose is to offer a forum where material that would otherwise be eclipsing on hard-drives can be presented to an audience in order to exchange opinions and gain further insights.
Why Antikrates.net?
Antikrates is usually associated with anti-rule or anti-authoritarian. In a broader meaning, however, it is understood as a critical movement against ruling and governing opinions. Such a position is a central aspect of a dialog for it serves as a fruitful line of argument in identifying fundamental problems. The onomatology of Antikrates.net reflects this intention of its creators and seeks to provide a platform for young academics with different ideas. The focus is primarily on fostering an interdisciplinary and multiperspective dialog.
